Punching well above its population size in terms of innovation, Moray is undergoing a period of significant investment.
In 2021, a new deal saw £100million invested into the region – with funding for the development of an innovation focused campus and centre.
With a strong regional focus on innovation, NHS Grampian is committed to ensuring Moray has development at its heart.
In 2016, the health board launched its own dedicated Innovation Hub.
It consists of individuals, from a range of clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, and works to identify and implement new innovative technologies and practices to better healthcare in Grampian – and further afield.
By working with and supporting staff as well as external organisations, the hub plays a key role in innovation at NHS Grampian.
Dr Gray’s teams have been instrumental in many local ‘test-bed’ evaluations.
