NHS Grampian and NHS Highland have joined forces to improve maternity care and better serve the needs of women and families across Moray and Highland. Currently, many Moray women have to travel to Aberdeen to give birth.
By introducing an innovative new networked approach to service delivery, this will enable more choice for Moray women.
The ultimate aim – consultant-led obstetric births at Dr Gray’s Hospital – is scheduled to begin within 2 years with services introduced in a gradual way as we recruit key staff.
